Synopsis:

Inspired by the Greek comic poet Aristophanes’ play “Assemblywomen”, “Noun” tells the story of a group of women who decide to take over the assembly where their husbands sit. Storming the parliament, the women denounce men’s power and revolt against injustice, war, and corruption. The play also addresses laws and traditions that discriminate against women in society and advocates for legislation that establishes gender equality.
