From Stanislavski to Strasberg…to you
This acting workshop explores the artist’s personal journey, using the body, mind, and senses as instruments of expression. By merging personal history with the imagined world of a character, participants create authentic performances where fiction feels real. Through collaboration between actor and director, balance, energy, and artistry emerge. Drawing from Method Acting traditions, from James Dean and Marilyn Monroe to Ellen Burstyn and Bradley Cooper, the workshop covers core techniques such as relaxation, concentration, sense and affective memory, improvisation, substitution, “magic if,” and given circumstances to develop truthful, powerful performances.
