Synopsis:<\/p>\n

Based on Nikolai Karamzin&#39;s classic story, \u2018Poor Liza\u2019
\nfollows the touching romance between a young peasant
\nwoman, Liza, and a nobleman, Erast. Their love, tender and
\ninnocent, faces inevitable challenges as the realities of their
\nsocial differences come into play. Set in the spirit of
\nKaramzin&#39;s era, this musical adaptation by director Mark
\nRozovsky uses poetic and musical elements to breathe new
\nlife into this tale of first love, betrayal, and morality. The
\nproduction reflects on timeless questions: Can love transcend
\nsocietal boundaries, and are we prepared for the trials fate has
\nin store?<\/p>\n
