Synopsis :<\/b><\/p>\n

In this new ritual-like epic, Josef Nadj reunites the African dancers from his previous creation, \u2018Omma\u2019. His aim: to explore the origins of movement before the emergence of dance and delve into the Afro-American roots of jazz.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Set against a contemporary ritual with jazz undertones, seven dancers, joined by a solitary puppet-like figure, draw from their countries’ choreographic heritage to shape their performance.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Engaging with Afro-American jazz from the 1950s to 1980s, the dancers embark on a journey to rediscover the movements within themselves, tracing them back to the primal essence of dance.<\/span><\/p>\n
