To capture the homeland\u2019s pains and joys, hardships and happy moments, the director chose \u2018The House of Abu Abdallah\u2019, with all its changes, ups, and downs. Through the house\u2019s symbolism and various family life details, like rights and duties, Anas Abdessamad reflects on his homeland, delving into fundamental questions like freedom, the body\u2019s sanctity, and oppression.<\/span><\/p>\n

Emphasizing the actor\u2019s physical expression and using meta-theater, he transforms the stage into a space for confession, exposing and denouncing the oppression of power.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
