Euripides’ tragedy ends with Medea, the murderer of her two sons, escaping from earth to the sky on the chariot of the sun, drawn by winged serpents, fleeing from the justice of men\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Here…in this project, the myth of Medea and Jason migrates geographically and historically: from 5th-century BC Greece, it transposes onto the land of the Arabs, here and now…<\/span><\/p>\n

Where the wild state has reached its climax…<\/span><\/p>\n

What if Medea had refrained from fleeing and had appeared before the judicial institutions with their strict laws,<\/span><\/p>\n

Before her defenders, as this criminal,<\/span><\/p>\n

Psychologists, each with their own contradictions and different perspectives,<\/span><\/p>\n

Facing an audience settled in the tranquility of their ideas and prejudices…<\/span><\/p>\n

Who will judge Medea for all her crimes?<\/span><\/p>\n

Who possesses the legitimacy to proclaim the right to life and death, in the face of the daily massacres we witness, committed by a man who claims to be human?<\/span><\/p>\n
