Synopsis<\/b><\/p>\n

The play delves into a humanitarian issue and a crisis affecting societies across the Arab world and beyond. It explores societal taboos and unspoken conflicts within the structure of society, particularly the eternal question: “Should I have children or not?”. The narrative revolves around a woman named “Amal” who chooses to terminate her pregnancy. Witnessing destruction, wars, killings, extremism, psychological crises, and drug-related issues in the streets, she decides against bringing her child into a world full of such tragedies. Her wish is for her kid to live peacefully in her embrace rather than becoming a victim of senseless wars. At this juncture, her husband, “Bassem,” decides to take the child and carry him within his womb.<\/span><\/p>\n
