Synopsis:
"Peregrinus" is a parade inspired by the poetic universe of T.S. Eliot, reflecting the anxieties of
humanity within a dehumanized, consumer-driven society. The performance portrays a day in
the life of a 21st-century individual, symbolizing ordinary people who live only to work. These
individuals' lives are defined by the repetitive journey between home and work. Set in a bleak,
terrifying, and grotesque contemporary world, consumerism emerges as the new dominant
"religion." The "Homo Peregrinus" is depicted as a human-like figure devoid of emotional depth,
predictably homogeneous and lacking individuality. The piece critiques the uniformity and
consumerist tendencies of modern life.
