Synopsis :
Philippe Aractingi, an award-winning filmmaker, ventures onto the stage for the first time, leveraging his extensive expertise in cinema. He shares his stories through various mediums, including films projected onto six dislocated screens, oral storytelling, and sound/music vignettes. This performance diverges from conventional theater; it embodies an intimate essence in a multifaceted form, designed to be experienced in its raw texture. It invites the audience to experience a man’s life with humility, simplicity, occasional self-mockery, and humor. Indeed, it covers aspects of his early childhood struggles as a dyslexic, memories of war, the disappearance of his piano, the destruction of his organ, the death of his father, and the production of his first feature film. Lina Abyad and Philippe Aractingi’s play creates an immersive, multimedia experience that transports the spectator into a unique world.
