Synopsis:
Professor Bertrand Kitts stands trial for teaching the theory of evolution, defying prevailing religious and social norms. The courtroom becomes a battleground between freedom of thought and the dominance of faith and tradition. Under immense societal and legal pressure, Kitts finds an ally in a gifted lawyer who defends intellectual freedom and the right to scientific inquiry. Through moving testimonies from his students, the play exposes the personal cost of confronting repression and the fear of change.
