Synopsis:
Premiering at the Carthage Theatre Days, F.A.S.L. draws its title from the Arabic word fasl, meaning pause, transition, or separation. The piece investigates the space between two worlds: between movement and stillness, silence and sound, individuality and collectivity.
F.A.S.L. unfolds as a choreography of contrasts: city and desert, shadow and light, singular and communal. It represents a ritual of connection, in which difference does not divide but binds. Inspired by the layered relationship between Europe and the Maghreb, the work seeks to transform contrasts into a shared artistic language, where encounters become creation.
