Synopsis
‘‘Dust’’ is the culmination of over two years of research. It looks into the landscape of human brain and its collapse through Alzheimer’s disease. This multidisciplinary performance seeks to understand and analyze the complexities of self-awareness, interpersonal understanding, and the diverse roles individuals play in life.
Throughout this research, the play reflects on the longing that Alzheimer’s patients have to their first homes as a metaphor to process the alienation that we have towards our cities and realities. How can we belong without a memory? How can we find our way back home within our ever-changing cities?
