Synopsis:
Inspired by “Delirium for Two,” a one-act play by Eugène Ionesco created in April 1962, this new interpretation continues to explore marital life through the narrative of this couple.
Outside, there’s war, while inside, absurd quarrels over trivial details. There are quirky wordplays, exchanged accusations, and illogical disputes that reveal the cracks in this couple’s life. A war rages both within and outside. As conflict approaches their neighborhood and even their home, their incessant bickering over trivialities persists within the same room. Despite the encroaching danger, instead of focusing on survival, they remain embroiled in their arguments. Isn’t it time to appeal to reason?
