Synopsis:
A man lives in a garbage dump, fleeing life and its problems. Unable to confront job loss, divorce, and his sister’s prostitution, he seeks solace amidst the waste, creating a shoe companion to alleviate his isolation. Through his extended dialogue with the shoe, the audience follows the stories of “Chahtout” and his tumultuous journey that led him to live in a landfill.
“Al Khanzir” (The Pig) is a dark comedy that highlights corruption and holds society and its powerless silence accountable.
