How to Participate in the Avignon Off Festival?**
Participating in the Avignon Off Festival in 2025 or 2026 is entirely possible for artists, companies, and producers wishing to present a show in one of the many partner venues. This is a fully open festival: you simply need to find a hosting theatre, sign a performance agreement, and then register your production with AF&C, the organization that coordinates the Off.
Created in 1966, the festival is now one of the largest in the world, bringing together more than 1,400 companies in 139 venues every July. In 2025, nearly 1,800 shows were programmed and 1.6 million tickets were sold, confirming its exceptional influence. Harold David will speak about the process, the steps to follow, and the secrets of registering for the Festival Off Avignon.
