Synopsis:
This play explores the condition of the Arab man, torn between tyranny and submission. Set in a world reminiscent of a circus, an arena of spectacle and domination, the story portrays power as a ruthless ringmaster, while the powerless audience applauds its own executioner. The play lays bare the mechanisms of oppression that reduce citizens to mere cogs in the despots’ machinery. Beneath it all, it questions the true meaning of freedom and dignity in a world sustained by fear and entertainment.
