Synopsis:
Endgame is a play by Samuel Beckett, about a blind, paralyzed, and tyrannical old man (Ham), his elderly parents (Nag and Nell) and his submissive companion (Clov) in an abandoned house in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. The dialogue is brief, back-and-forth between the characters. The title of the play refers to a game of chess and frames the characters as representing a losing battle with each other or with their fate. These differently-abled characters represent different generations. The place is closed off with two high windows that only Clov can climb to using a ladder, trying to find any life outside this place.
